It all started about 3 1/2 years ago, when I was on the planning committee for my High School reunion. Actually, I guess I have to go back before that to tell you where my interest was first peaked. I designed a homepage for a friend who was going to start a new business in America Online (AOL) using templates and then designed another for another friend, then a personal homepage for myself all using AOL. A couple years later, I volunteered to do a webpage for my HS reunion. For this, I used Frontpage, mostly self-taught, but went on later to attend a couple classes. I maintained and updated my HS reunion page up until the actual event, then went on to do a 'post-reunion' addition. After the excitement from the success of the reunion, the 'committee' decided to keep this web site and subsequently purchased our own URL and now it is affectionately referred to as our 'lifeline' or 'Alumni website'. I went on to teach myself Dreamweaver and a few graphic programs in which I design logo's, trademarks, business cards and much much more.. (See Etc. page). I know there is a lot of competition out here, but I hope to appeal to those of you on a small budget.
